Medicine for Sailors Course (Meets USCG standards)
In this course, we teach novice sailors the techniques to safely operate a sailboat and navigate in coastal areas. This course also covers basic boat systems, sailboat terminology, auxiliary engine operation, docking, sail trim, anchoring, safety, seamanship, basic navigation and weather interpretation. 4 days/3 nights.
Course fees include: Lodging aboard, ASA certification fees, meals aboard (excludes meals ashore).
We can add a basic life support, first aid, and/or medical tips for sailors course at the beginning or end.

Medicine for Sailors Course (Meets USCG Standards)
In this course, we teach you to skipper a sloop-rigged auxiliary powered keelboat in moderate winds and sea conditions. We also cover basic boat systems, sailboat terminology, auxiliary engine operation, docking, sail trim, anchoring, safety, seamanship, navigation and weather interpretation. We will conduct a multi-day cruise including provisioning, emergency operations, and systems.
Course fees include: Lodging aboard, meals aboard, ASA certification; (does not include meals ashore).
